“I take the swans at Walcot Lake too much for granted, mainly because they are the dominant species and the males are utter bullies. On this dull afternoon, I was out for much more interesting wildlife, all of which decided to avoid me.  But the wind had died, and this resting swan hooked my eye.  By under-exposing, I was able to turn the water inky black and catch both swan and perfect reflection in one serene, floating moment.”
