‘Somehow this shot seems to epitomize the Autumn. The commas kept showing right into October due to the warm weather, but when  one alighted on a bramble, all the colours came together to frame this wonderful butterfly, one of the few thatis known to overwinter in the UK, often in the hollows of old trees, or in the cooler darker spaces of human constructions such as garages and outbuildings’
