“I had been thinking about this image for a while and realised that Clun Castle with clean winter light might make a perfect setting for moonrise.  I chose a few days before the full moon, as the moon rises earlier and there is still the chance of dusk light on these picturesque ruins.  I have often swum in the river behind the castle with my family over the years during summer and it was truly wonderful to see the castle under a different, more magical light.  Published on the BBC News website.”
