“Sometime your best photos can come by accident. On this evening, there were four of us keen night-sky enthusiasts, all with cameras and head-torches setting up shots as the Milky Way became visible behind Clee Hill Radar Station. It turns out that for one of the shots, someone’s lamp lit the grass in front of me, and thereby did me a great favour, as the green of the grass echoes that tiny green electrical light at the base of the station. This then became my first ever cover shot for Amateur Photographer.”
